Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of our clinical services, online booking and website.
Effective: 1 January 2026 · Last updated: 15 April 2026 · Version: 4.1
Your agreement with us
These Terms of Service form the agreement between you and Being Physio Pty Ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000) when you book, attend or pay for any service we offer, or when you use this website. By making a booking or attending an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
If you are booking on behalf of a child, parent or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that they have agreed to these terms.
Our services
Being Physio provides allied-health services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, exercise physiology, in-home care and clinical Pilates. Services are delivered in line with the standards of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, AHPRA, and other relevant professional bodies.
While we apply best clinical practice, individual outcomes depend on many factors including your condition, adherence to your home program and other circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee a specific clinical outcome.
Bookings, cancellations & missed appointments
Appointments may be booked online, by phone or in person. We will send a confirmation, plus a reminder by SMS or email 24–48 hours before your appointment.
Cancellation policy
- More than 24 hours' notice: no fee — reschedule freely.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: a 50% cancellation fee applies.
- Missed appointment ("no-show"): the full appointment fee applies.
Cancellation fees are not claimable from Medicare, your private health fund or the NDIS, and must be paid before your next appointment can be booked.
Fees & payment
Our standard fees are listed below. Fees are reviewed annually and the rate that applies is the rate published on the day of your appointment.
- Physiotherapy initial consult — $140
- Physiotherapy standard follow-up — $110
- Occupational Therapy assessment — $200
- Podiatry consultation — $95
- Exercise Physiology session — $120
- In-home / mobile visit — +$30 travel surcharge
Payment is due at the end of each appointment. We accept all major debit and credit cards, HICAPS rebates from participating private health funds, Medicare claims (where you have a valid GP referral and Care Plan), DVA cards, and direct invoicing for NDIS, workers compensation and motor-accident matters.
Concession discounts are available for pensioners, full-time students and healthcare card holders. Please bring your card to your first appointment.
Telehealth appointments
We offer secure video consultations for follow-up assessments, exercise progressions and consultations where in-person attendance is not practical. Telehealth is not appropriate for all presentations — your clinician will let you know if your situation requires an in-clinic visit. You are responsible for ensuring you have a private space and a stable internet connection at your end.
Clinical consent
Before treatment begins, your clinician will explain the proposed assessment and treatment, expected outcomes, alternatives and any risks. You may withdraw consent at any time. For patients under 18, we will obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian unless the clinician forms the view that the patient is mature enough to consent on their own.
Conduct & safety in the clinic
We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for our team and our patients. We reserve the right to refuse or end an appointment, and to decline future bookings, where a patient or visitor:
- behaves in a way that is abusive, threatening or discriminatory
- attends under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs in a way that prevents safe treatment
- fails to disclose information that materially affects clinical safety
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to the re-supply of the service or the cost of doing so. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
